OMG painting with maggots!
Maggot Art is a popular activity sponsored by the UC Davis Department of Entomology on the campuswide UC Davis Picnic Day. Maggots are dipped into non-toxic, water-based paint and then they crawl on a piece of paper in artwork suitable for framing, officials said. The term was coined by a former UC Davis doctoral candidate, Rebecca O’Flaherty.
